Here are few tips and secrets to make a day job income online via affiliate marketing.

An affiliate program is a marketing tool based on the concept of revenue sharing, where a commission is paid for referring business. A web advertiser will recruit persons responsible for writing and maintaining websites (a webmaster), to insert client’s banner ads or buttons at key points in their websites.

The webmaster will receive some kind of commission once a visitor to the site has clicked on the affiliate advertisement, and has been linked through to the client’s own website. This is popularly known as Affiliate Marketing.

For an affiliate program to be successful, the type of advertisement needs to be carefully researched. You will need to ensure that you are advertising products or services relevant to the type of site you intend to insert banner advertisements/buttons on.
